Carrie Peele is the definition of a serial entrepreneur — proving that a passion for the process will drive success. In 1990, she bought a limo with three credit cards and built the largest woman-owned luxury transportation company in the South over 15 years. After selling the company, she co-founded Mako Documents in 2015, scaling and selling it a decade later.

Today, she leads North Carolina Gold Buyers, where she has increased revenue by 433%, and Jade Lending, a social impact fund she founded that turned $850K in loans into $14.3M for women entrepreneurs. She also co-founded ATHENA of the Triangle, mentoring women to lead boldly, while helping her grandchildren start their own businesses at age seven.
